About this role:
WTI is seeking an Office Assistant with Public Trust clearance, to support the United States Agency for Global Media in their mission to inform, engage, and connect people around the world in support of freedom and democracy.
This position is currently a hybrid role, with 2 days on-site in Washington, DC and 3 days of remote work.
The Office Assistant will provide administrative support to the program team and staff. They will perform routine clerical duties including, but not limited to, organizing internal and external meetings, composing and editing communications, maintaining office calendars, and acting as a liaison between departments to ensure efficient operations. This role will manage staff travel requests, including providing assistance with reimbursement procedures as needed.
The selected individual will assist with Budget & Contract Management using trackers to support onboarding, renewals, and closeouts. Additionally, they will assist the Research Director in managing budgetary, research proposals, and internal/external communications. The ability to research, compile, and analyze data is a must.
Position requires the following qualifications:
- Active Public Trust clearance level
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of administrative support experience
- Demonstrated expertise using MS Office, with strong proficiency using Word and Excel
