Training and Mission Support is a critical element in our national defense strategy. WTI supports DoD strategic objectives by providing both time-tested tools and innovative technologies to create realistic, engaging training that adapts to the user’s learning preferences and experience levels.
As a prime contractor under the Army Virtual Learning Environment (AVLE) contract vehicle, WTI has been successfully executing task orders which allow us to extend support to all 23 Centers of Excellence (CoE) within the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and other Army elements. WTI assists the Army with their efforts to leverage learning sciences, neurosciences, and technologies in curriculum design, courseware design, and delivery to enable the execution of rigorous, relevant, and tailorable learning content at the point of need. WTI has developed courseware to help meet the needs of the CoEs’ training mission. These products are designed to provide students with learning concepts from basic ideas to complex thought processes. WTI has proudly created quality learner-centric training that meets the Army’s distributed learning (DL) training development objectives and requirements.
In a separate effort, WTI has integrated Silicon Valley’s Lean Launchpad innovation methodology, adapted by the National Science Foundation for the government’s ecosystem, within a DOD agency to help prepare their workforce to transform ideas into sustainable, customer-focused solutions. These methodologies help the workforce understand core customers’ pain points and desired outcomes, adapt to a “fail-fast” mentality and reduce risks through rapid experimentations, and learn at speed to make quick, evidence-based “Go/No Go” decisions. Training, coaching, and mentoring is delivered primarily through brown bag sessions, one-on-one meetings, and workshops.
