AI Subject Matter Expert

Job Description

Contractor must have deep experience in research and development of master variables, algorithms, and interfaces.  Experience with research, analysis and assessment of capabilities and emerging technologies; experience in development, acquisition, and fielding of digital capabilities, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.  Deep experience in enterprise-wide integration, architecture, requirements development, and analysis; deeply experienced in experimentation and war-gaming to test service concepts; deep experience with data management frameworks, IT system design/development/delivery/implementation, data flow analysis/development, data management and analytics.

  • Communicate with and report to senior leadership
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams
  • Assess baseline, inventory of systems, and roles and needs of data users within DoD and key partners
  • Compile and present meaningful reports and recommendations
  • Design and develop data flows, algorithms, and interfaces
  • Enhance IT infrastructure; ability to identify training requirements
  • Design and deliver training to DoD and stakeholder users on data stewardship and AI/machine learning integration and management
  • Create, demonstrate, and scale models


  • Master’s or PhD degree in an associated technical or line of business discipline or the equivalent years in experience
  • Minimum 18 years of progressive experience in high-level technical and organizational support services; in rare circumstances, education and/or experience requirements may be decreased or waived if the individual has an extraordinary educational background or uniquely applicable experience or highly specialized knowledge
