Training and Mission Support play a crucial role in our national defense strategy. WTI has been instrumental in supporting DoD strategic objectives by offering a combination of proven tools and cutting-edge technologies. Our goal is to create immersive training experiences that cater to users’ learning preferences and adapt to their experience levels.

As a primary contractor under the Army Virtual Learning Environment (AVLE) contract vehicle, WTI has successfully executed task orders, extending support to all 23 Centers of Excellence (CoE) within the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and other Army elements. WTI has played a key role in assisting the Army’s utilization of learning sciences, neurosciences, and technologies in curriculum design, courseware development, and delivery. This support enables the implementation of rigorous, relevant, and customizable learning content when and where it is needed. WTI has developed courseware tailored to meet the training mission requirements of the CoEs, offering students a comprehensive learning experience from basic concepts to intricate thought processes. Our commitment to creating learner-centric training aligns with the Army’s distributed learning (DL) training development objectives and requirements.

In a separate initiative, WTI integrated Silicon Valley’s Lean Launchpad innovation methodology, as adapted by the National Science Foundation for the government’s ecosystem, within a DOD agency. This integration aimed to equip the workforce with the skills needed to transform ideas into sustainable, customer-focused solutions. The methodologies employed helped the workforce identify core customer pain points and desired outcomes. Embracing a “fail-fast” mentality, we mitigated risks through rapid experimentation, learning at speed, and making swift, evidence-based “Go/No Go” decisions. Our approach involved delivering training, coaching, and mentoring primarily through brown bag sessions, one-on-one meetings, and workshops.
