WTI received a contract under OASIS from the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) to support a core element of the Navy’s Warfare Community. The contract increases ONI’s capabilities to support its mission of collecting, analyzing, and producing maritime intelligence that is disseminated to key decision makers in the Navy and DoD. This provides increased support to allow for the opening of a new facility onsite which will provide additional capabilities to active duty and reserve naval and civilian professionals. The addition of the WTI contract permits for doubling of ONI capabilities to increase their efficiency and ability to meet ONI’s core objectives. This new facility also aids ONI in continuing and expanding their mission of producing maritime intelligence on naval weapons and technology proliferations, transnational threat in civil maritime counter-proliferation and other activities that directly support the U.S. Navy, joint war fighters and national decision makers.
